Thank you for your request dated Mar 23, 2022 01:43:07 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for information on the cases handled by Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" G. Robredo as a public attorney and the duration of her stay in the Public Attorney's Office.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Per office record, VP Leni served as a public attorney assigned in Naga City District Office  from 18 August 1997 to 30 May 1998, or about nine months.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you requested as this Office, as of time of writing, has no record of any report or data pertaining specifically to the cases handled by VP Leni  during her stint as a public attorney, which happened around 25 years ago.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Honorable Chief Public Attorney Dr. Persida V. Rueda-Acosta, DSD at 5th Floor, DOJ Agencies Building, NIA Road corner East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
