Hi! I would like to request for the following information:
1. Official maritime incident reports involving PCG, Bureau of Fishery and Aquatic Resources and external forces in the West Philippine Sea from the years 2012-2022.
2. PCG Capability/Assessment/Modernization Study from 2012-2022 or whatever latest documents there are.
3. I’d also like to know the desired or necessary materiel assets or vessels needed by the PCG in order to patrol the West Philippine Sea and fulfill its mandate in general.

You asked for Request for Reports/Assessments/Materiel assets of the PCG.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of some the information you requested.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for as the information you have requested for the maritime incidents involving PCG and BFAR due to the reason that the information may be disclosed upon order of competent courts or upon written request duly approved by the Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
In this regard, requesting you to lodge another request on the e-FOI portal stating your reasons for acquiring the said information.
