I am a PhD researcher at the Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies (GSP), Kyunghee University in South Korea. I am conducting a study on the Causal Effect of Gender Development Spending on Eliminating Violence against Women in the Philippines. I am hoping to get the data (by region, if possible) of the GAD budget allocation and utilization from year 1995 to 2018.

Your Request

You asked for GAD budget allocation and utilization from year 1995 to 2018.

Response to Request

This is with regards your request for data on GAD budget allocation and expenditure from 1995 to 2018.  Please be informed that although gender mainstreaming as a strategy was adopted during the Beijing Platform for Action in 1995, it was only in 2001 that PCW (formerly NCRFW) started reviewing GAD Plans and Budgets of national government agencies.   We believe that we have already provided you with the GAD Budget Report that we submitted to Congress (2001-2002) and the data from the unpublished report  "Gender and Development Performance of the Philippines: A Review of Compliance to the GAD Budget Policy FY 2013-2015". Thus, in addition to the said documents, we are providing you the attached update on GAD budget allocation and expenditure as of May 2018 as additional reference for your thesis.  

Your right to request a review
