I am Arjhon Rae P Alegado, a 3rd student of President Ramon Magsaysay State University taking Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies. I would like to request a statistic/data of VAWC reported incident in the Philippines for the Last Quarter of 2022 1st Quarter of 2023. Also may I request the Top 5 or 10 provinces with high rate of VAWC incidents. This will be beneficial and significant information that can I add in my report regarding the Violence Against Women and Children in our course Gender and Society.

You asked for data on Reported VAWC incidents in the Philippines for the Last Quarter of 2022 1st Quarter of 202.


Response to Request

We are providing you with our available information on the Reported VAWC cases in the Philippines. The attached report was provided to us by the Philippine National Policy (PNP) and it covers  FY 2022 and first quarter of 2023. 

As for your request for the top 5 or 10 provinces with highest VAWC incidence, we recommend that you directly contact the Philippine National Police, for it is the most appropriate office for your concern. As of now, PNP is the only source of data on the national incidence of violence against women and has a well-established reporting system through their Crime Information Reporting and Analysis System (CIRAS). This electronic system is fully operational in all police stations and community precincts in the country. You may reach them through the following contact information:
