While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have direct services such as legal nor financial assistance. However, you may wish to contact the following for medical assistance:

OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT
The Office of the Vice President provides medical assistance for poor, marginalized, vulnerable, and disadvantaged individuals.

Clients/Authorized representatives may apply only once every twelve (12) months and may submit the complete and correct documentary requirements through the nearest OVP Satellite Offices. Only applicants with complete requirements shall be processed.

SENATE OF THE PHILIPPINES
In its effort to still be of service to its constituents despite the difficulties brought by COVID-19, the Senate hereby announces that requests for medical assistance can now be submitted online.

Kindly fill out the form (http://legacy.senate.gov.ph/Form%20Medical%20Assistance2.xlsx) and send it together with the requirements through the designated email addresses of the concerned Senators.

2. Medical Certificate or Clinical Abstract
3. Quotation of medicines / hospital bills
4. Copy of Patient’s ID and/or Representative’s ID
5. Social Case Study
• Must be a patient of the requested hospital (Government hospitals only).

Please be informed that a drop box, situated at the Senate entrance gate, is also provided for those who do not have their email addresses.

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

The House of Representatives offers assistance to patients from NATIONAL KIDNEY AND TRANSPLANT INSTITUTE, EAST AVENUE MEDICAL CENTER, and PHILIPPINE HEART CENTER. Patients must prepare the following documents:
1. Medical Certificate
2. Prescription
3. Social Case Study
4. Clinical Abstract
5. Treatment Protocol
6. Certificate of Indigency

You may pass these documents at Constitutional Hills, Quezon City every MONDAY (8am-5pm). For further inquiries you may call the following numbers:

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Atty. Kristine Rosary Yuzon-Chaves/Executive Director/oed@pcw.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
