Dear Katrina Evangelista,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 04, 2023 10:45:23 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for all registered and accredited organizations for women empowerment in the Philippines.

Response to Request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, PCW does not have a complete list of registered and accredited organizations for women empowerment in the Philippines. Please note that PCW, as mandated by RA 9710, or the Magna Carta of Women (MCW), is the lead government agency on policy-making and the overseeing agency, ensuring the monitoring and implementation of programs and projects of other government agencies that are in line with gender and development. PCW does not accredit women’s organizations in the Philippines since such is not within our powers as a government agency.

Nevertheless, we provide you with the list of CSOs that we have compiled in 2018. Kindly take note that this is not an exhaustive list of civil society organizations as this contains only the groups that PCW has worked or coordinated with during the time of its compilation.

We wish to get your feedback on how we handled your eFOI request.

Please help us understand the quality of our services by taking a few minutes to respond to our client satisfaction survey which you can access through this link: https://bit.ly/GADIRSandFOIClientFeedbackSurvey.
