Response to Request

We are sending you the latest data on reports involving extra-marital infidelity received by our office through the Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women and their Children (IACVAWC) Secretariat. Kindly note that the data cover the years 2019 to 2021 because our monitoring on this was only systematized in 2019. Kindly see attached file in this reply for the requested data. Please do take note that this does not include reports of infidelity by live-in partners.


As an additional data source, please also check the webpage of the Philippine Statistics Authority where the Annual Statistical Fact Sheets on Women and Men in the Philippines, which among others, contain VAW data, has been proactively disclosed: https://psa.gov.ph/gender-stat/wmf.


Your right to request a review
