Response to Request

We are sending you the latest report on the number of clients served by the Philippine Commission on Women through the Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women and Their Children (IACVAWC) Secretariat involving marital infidelity. Kindly note that the data cover the years 2019 to 2022 because our monitoring of this was only systematized in 2019. Attached to this reply is the file for the requested data. Please take note that this does not include reports of infidelity by live-in partners.

As an additional data source, please also check the webpage of the Philippine Statistics Authority where the Annual Statistical Fact Sheets on Women and Men in the Philippines, which among others, contain VAW data, has been proactively disclosed: https://psa.gov.ph/gender-stat/wmf.
