Monthly reported cases of violence against women, disaggregated by type of case/complaint

Requested from PNP by K. Berse at 09:04 PM on May 16, 2021.
Purpose: Study on gender-based violence in times of emergencies and crises
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2019 - 12/31/2020
Tracking no: #PNP-423417705731

Berse 09:04 PM, May 16, 2021

I am currently leading a study on the impacts of COVID-19 on gender-based violence in times of crises and emergencies. We hope to assess if there has been any changes in VAW cases in the past two years, 2019-2020, based on PNP's official records. In particular, we are looking for monthly data on VAW-related complaints filed with the Women's Desk within the aforementioned period, broken down according to type of case (e.g. sexual harassment, rape, etc.)

Rest assured that the data you will provide will be treated with utmost care and used for the purposes of the study only.
