Dear Tatsuya Koyama,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 18, 2021 11:12:42 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for The number of desks for NTF-ELCAC in each regional, provincial, and municipal office.

Response to Request

Please be informed that there are no desks specifically for NTF-ELCAC in the Police Regional Offices, Police Provincial Offices, and Municipal Police Stations. Unlike in the past when the problem on insurgency was left solely to the AFP and the PNP, NTF-ELCAC is the collaboration of various government agencies and their corresponding units at all levels to provide practical solutions to solve issues on the ground.

In support to the NTF-ELCAC, PNP units, down to its lowest units conduct humanitarian assistance and related disaster relief operations through its BARANGAYANIHAN FOOD and HELP BANK which is our grassroots engagements to address the devastating social and economic impact of COVID-19 pandemic, as well as natural and man-made disasters. The PNP conducts community mobilization to foster relations, improve cooperation and coordination to better serve the people, promote anti-drugs and anti-criminality programs, and engage force multipliers to protect the communities.
