I would like to ask the status of the PNR lands in San Fernando City, La Union mostly on Poro Point where some part of the old PNR railways has become a  residential area. Can I also ask if the settlers on those lands can legally build and maybe acquire them thru "EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 48 - DECLARING NON-CORE PROPERTIES OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RAILWAYS (PNR) AS SOCIALIZED HOUSING SITES AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF THE SAME BONAFIDE OCCUPANTS." There are also rumors that the government  of SFC, LU will reacquire them to build an extension of the SFC Baywalk.
