Good day,

With the new CPD points requirements, I would just like to clarify the latest CPD regulation for PRC license renewal. 

Are newly licensed professionals still not covered by the CPD requirement for the first renewal cycle after obtaining their license?

Yes, newly licensed professionals for the first renewal cycle (3 years) after obtaining their license are still not covered to the CPD requirements.
