Your Request

You asked for ASKING FOR GUIDELINES OF RENEWAL OF PRC ID FOR 1ST TIME WITHOUT CPD REQUURED..

Response to Request

Yes you can renew your PIC without complying the CPD units required.

In an official PRC advisory, (https://www.prc.gov.ph/article/extension-acceptance-undertaking-renewal-professional-identification-card/5349), registered professionals can still renew their licenses without or with incomplete CPD units until December 31, 2022.

It must be noted that the following professionals are NOT required to comply with the CPD units requirement:

1. Professionals working overseas (OFWs). 
They can renew their licenses anytime without the need to earn the CPD units which are only required for Philippine-based professionals.

2. Newly-licensed professionals.
 For newly-licensed professionals, the requirements will only apply to them on their second renewal cycle.
