Hi, gusto ko pong malaman sana from PRC kung ano po yung Certificate of Undertaking na kailangan ko pong gawin para makapag-renew ng PRC license without CPD units. Saan po pupwedeng kunin ang certificate or papaano po ito pina-process? Salamat

You asked for Certificate of Undertaking.

Response to Request

I think you are asking for the Affidavit of Undertaking.

Due to the unprecedented effects of the COVID-19 pandemic including travel restrictions and work disruptions which made it challenging for professionals to comply with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other requirements for the renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the acceptance of CPD Undertaking for the renewal of PIC is extended until December 31, 2022, pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 1444(A) s. 2021.
It must be noted however, that the execution of the Undertaking shall not constitute as a waiver of the CPD compliance and such compliance shall be completed on the next renewal cycle.

There is no need for you to submit a separate Affidavit of Undertaking to prove that you’ll comply with the CPD requirements come January 2023. All you have to do is complete the online renewal application form which already has an “Undertaking” section provided specifically for this purpose.
