Good day!

This is Jeremy Antonio, a 4th year undergraduate student from UP Baguio. I am writing to request raw data on the annual total labor force, that is, the population of employed and unemployed who have contributed in the production of goods and services in the Philippines from the 1970 to 2020. This data will be used for my bachelor’s thesis entitled, “Determinants and Impacts on Aggregate Output in the Philippines: 1970 to 2020” this 1st sem of the school yr 2021-2022.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 25, 2021 03:30:47 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Raw data on the annual labor force in the Philippines.

Your FOI request is approved. 

In reference to your request to the public use files, please submit the following documents to info@psa.gov.ph:

1) Letter of Request addressed to our Head of Agency with an affixed signature of the Research/Thesis Adviser indicating the specific data of puf, its reference period, and the purpose of using the microdata
2) Accomplished Data Product Agreement Form (https://tinyurl.com/DPAFstudent)
Once these documents are received, we will submit these for approval and verify the availability of the pufs. We will process and provide you the data sets as soon as possible.

However, our earliest puf of LFS is only 1990.
