Good day, I am Melissa Luz Lopez, a graduate student from the UP School of Economics. I am writing to request for the raw datasets for the Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) for the 2012, 2015, 2018, and 2021 survey rounds, preferably in Stata (.dta) format. The data will be used for a graduate-level research paper and for my master's thesis. 

I assure that the data will be used for academic purposes. Thank you very much.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Mar 31, 2023 11:34:32 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for 2021 FIES data.

Your FOI request is approved. 

In reference to your request to the public use files, please be informed that our available FIES pufs is limited to regional estimates only. Please submit the following documents to info@psa.gov.ph:

1) Letter of Request addressed to our Head of Agency with your affixed signature indicating the specific data of puf, its reference period, and the purpose of using the microdata
2) Accomplished Data Product Agreement Form (https://tinyurl.com/DPAFresearch)

Once these documents are received, we will submit these for approval and verify the availability of the pufs. We will process and provide you the data sets as soon as possible.
