Hi,

Aside from getting the status of my national ID, I would like to request changing my permanent address (should be the same as my present address).

My permanent address is no longer available/necessary because we don’t live there anymore. Our house there got caught on fire just last June.

Thank you for your request dated Aug 11, 2023 01:13:34 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Change of National ID Permanent Address.

Your FOI request is approved.

We would like to inform you that the address for delivery of the PhilID cannot be updated; the Post Office will attempt to deliver your PhilID to the address you provided during your Step 2 registration. You may authorize an individual from your previous address to receive your PhilID, or you may claim your PhilID at the Post Office. Please provide an authorization letter and a copy of your ID to your authorized representative.

You may also track your PhilID using your TRN at https://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph/.
