Good day! We would like to request for a 5-year statistics of elderly persons (60 years and above) in the Philippines from 2018 to 2022. Thank you!

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Mar 14, 2022 09:50:10 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for 2018-2022 Statistics of Ageing (60 and above) Population in the Philippines.

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. 

Please be informed that we have recently released the total population by barangay based on our CPH 2020 on our website through this link:
https://psa.gov.ph/content/2020-census-population-and-housing-2020-cph-population-counts-declared-official-president

However, please take note that the aggregated data on household and institutional population or indicators like sex, age and other socio-demographic characteristics are not yet available for public use. Also, the census is conducted only every five (5) years.
