Hi! I would like to request information regarding:

1. The total number of MSMEs in Metro Manila by sectoral distribution such as (1) Manufacturing, (2) Accommodation and Food Service Activities, (3) Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles, (4) Financial and Insurance Activities, and (5) Other Service Activities.
2. The list of registered names of these MSMEs by sectoral distribution as well.

Your FOI request is approved. Please be informed that PSA does not release establishment-level information as we are bound by the confidentiality provision (Section 26) of Republic Act 10625 which states that: "Individual data furnished by the respondent to statistical inquiries, surveys and censuses of the PSA shall be considered privileged information and as such shall be inadmissible as evidence in any proceeding."

"The PSA may release aggregated information from statistical inquiries, surveys and censuses in the form of summaries or statistical tables in which no reference to an individual, corporation, association, partnership, institution or business enterprise shall appear.”
