Hello, I would like to request public use files for the 2020 Census of Population and Housing. This is for research purposes.

If not available, when can they be available for public use?

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 10, 2023 06:51:19 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for 2020 Census public use files.

Your FOI request is approved. 

Please be informed that we have recently released the total population by barangay based on our CPH 2020 on our website through these links:
https://psa.gov.ph/content/2020-census-population-and-housing-2020-cph-population-counts-declared-official-president
https://psa.gov.ph/content/household-population-number-households-and-average-household-size-philippines-2020-census

However, our public use files are not yet available for public use. 

For our releases, you may refer to our List of Designated Statistics-

Once available, you may request through our Information Center and send the following requirements to email address info@psa.gov.ph:
please submit the following documents:

1) Letter of Request addressed to our Head of Agency with your affixed signature indicating the specific data of puf, its reference period, and the purpose of using the microdata
2) Accomplished Data Product Agreement Form (https://tinyurl.com/DPAFresearch)

We will submit these for approval and provide you the data sets as soon as possible.
