Good day! I am Janelle Angela Olan, a 4th Year BS Statistics student at the University of the Philippines - Los Baños. In fulfillment of my degree this year, I will be conducting my undergraduate special problem (thesis) about identifying factors affecting the difference between the ideal and actual number of children that a woman has. Hence, I would like to request a copy of the raw dataset and dictionary of the 2017 National Demographic and Health Survey where I will be getting the information necessary for the said study. Note that the requested data will be used solely for this purpose.

You asked for 2017 National Demographic and Health Survey Raw Data and Dictionary.

In reference to your request to the public use files, please submit the following documents our Information Center through email address info@psa.gov.ph:

1) Letter of Request addressed to our Head of Agency with an affixed signature of the Research/Thesis Adviser indicating the specific data of puf, its reference period, and the purpose of using the microdata
2) Accomplished Data Product Agreement Form (https://tinyurl.com/DPAFstudent)

Once these documents are received, we will submit these for approval and verify the availability of the pufs. We will process and provide you the data sets as soon as possible.
