I am a student from University of Santo Tomas and we are working on a research about Economic Impact of Covid-19 on Transportation and Storage Sector in the Philippines 

We would like to request for the 1991-2001 Census of Philippine Business and Industry.

We needed data such as Number of Establishments, Total Revenue, Total Employment  in the Transportation and Storage.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 19, 2022 03:26:11 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Census of Philippine Business and Industry.

Your FOI request is approved.

In reference to your data request, based on record, as stated in the ASPBI Manual, the following establishment-based surveys were conducted:

1991, 1992, 1993, 1995 Annual Survey of Establishment (ASE)

1996 and 1997 ASE - Only one survey was conducted to collect data for
two years

1998 ASE

2000 - No Annual survey was conducted for this reference year.

2001 - The title of the survey for this reference year was renamed as
2002 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry. This was based
on NSCB Resolution No. 3 Series of 2000 which approved the change in the
title of the census of establishments to 2000 Census of Philippine
Business and Industry (CPBI) and changed the title to the year when the
census was undertaken. Thus, the title of the ASE was changed
accordingly to ASPBI.

2002 - No annual survey was conducted for this reference year due to
budgetary constraint.
