Hi! I would like to request the household-level dataset for the Family Income and Expenditure Survey for the years 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2018:

1) Ideally, I would like to have access to the full CVS data for all variables collected for the above listed years of the FIES in order to aid in the flexibility of my analysis.

2) Otherwise, I would at minimum need access to the variables indicating whether each household received remittance income, and the variables indicating the breakdown of expenditure into different categories (education, health, etc.).

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 09, 2023 01:14:21 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Family Income and Expenditure Survey, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2018.

Your FOI request is approved. 

In reference to your request to the public use files, please be informed that our available FIES pufs is limited to regional estimates only. Please submit the following documents to info@psa.gov.ph:

1) Letter of Request addressed to our Head of Agency with your affixed signature indicating the specific data of puf, its reference period, and the purpose of using the microdata
2) Accomplished Data Product Agreement Form (https://tinyurl.com/DPAFresearch)

Once these documents are received, we will submit these for approval and verify the availability of the pufs. We will process and provide you the data sets as soon as possible.
