Thank you for your request dated May 03, 2022 11:18:59 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for The Process of Application for National ID.

Your FOI request is approved. 

Despite the pandemic, we are doing our best to continue card production and delivery to accommodate the millions of Filipinos who have successfully registered for Step 1 and Step 2.
We humbly ask for your patience and support as we currently prioritize the distribution of PhilIDs to low-income families we registered in the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2021.

Meanwhile, please stay tuned for the launch of the PhilSys mobile app, which features an alternate and digital version of the PhilID that can be used ahead of the physical card.

You may also track your PhilID using the transaction number printed on the transaction slip provided to you during your Step 2 registration. Kindly visit https://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph/ to check the status of delivery.
