Hi. I am Yuri Leomo, a consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). On behalf of ADB, we would like to request for the subject Public Use File. Our research wants to look into how disasters affect firm location choice. We would like to request for the PUF of the ASPBI please include the geographic ID of the firms up to the municipal or barangay level.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 12, 2022 01:33:33 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Annual Survey on Philippine Business and Industry 2015 and 2017 Public Use Files.

Your FOI request is approved.

Please be informed that we do not provide raw data on our establishment surveys and censuses. We only provide access to our data enclave facility. For you to request, please send us a request letter addressed to our Usec. Claire Dennis S. Mapa, indicate your purpose in using the data and affix the signature of your Agency Head. The letter should be sent to our ONS via email address ons@psa.gov.ph, cc our concerned division that handles the data- g.delprado@psa.gov.ph and  j.egsan@psa.gov.ph.

Once the letter was approved, there will be an agreement between you and the PSA. You can only access the data sets within the premises of the PSA and only the results of your statistical runs will be provided to you and not the datasets. 

This and other conditions are stipulated in the Memorandum of Agreement (Data Enclave Access Agreement) which will be provided to you later.
