The PSA or Philsys administrators maintain a system to validate or verify the validity of Philsys ID:

https://verify.philsys.gov.ph/

We would like to know, since this is a platform developed using public funds, if we can also get access to the method or system by which this validation is done? 

We would to build into our website or app a method for verifying for ourselves whether a Philsys ID photographed by our user is actually valid or not by accessing the method/program/API  the PSA uses to scan to do the same.

Thank you for your request dated Aug 14, 2023 05:21:15 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Access to API or method for verifying the validity of Philsys ID.

In response to the inquiry per our coordination with our PhilSys Registry Office on your request on access to method for verifying of PhilID, we are respectfully sending the public key sign up form and authorization letter template for the PhilSys Check Public Key and Documentation through these links:

Moreover, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) shall be executed before the distribution of the public key.
