Hello! I would like to inquire about the following information regarding PhilID (Philippine National ID):

1. Is there a backlog in the production of PhilID in your office?

2. How many weeks or months should applicant expect before his or her PhilID is created after his or her application?

If the answer to the first question is yes,

3. What are the reasons behind the backlog in production of PhilID?

4. When will the production of PhilID return to normalcy?

You asked for Philippine National ID query.

First, we apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused you. Please be informed that we have forwarded your inquiries to our PhilSys Registry Office for their assistance on this matter. 

Despite the pandemic, we are doing our best to continue card production and delivery to accommodate the millions of Filipinos who have successfully registered for Step 1 and Step 2. 

We humbly ask for your patience and support as we currently prioritize the distribution of PhilIDs to low-income families we registered in 2020 and earlier this year. 

Meanwhile, please stay tuned for the launch of the PhilSys mobile app, an alternate and digital version of the PhilID which can be used ahead of the physical card.
