Hi. I would like to check if the civil registry office of Kabacan already submitted my request to carry the name of my father. I have the surname of my mother on my birth certificate (Francis Dave Pedrera) however, way back 2018 we requested to update it and have it changed to my father's surname (Francis Dave Pedrera Amolo). We already paid for the fees, all the documents were already completed. Recently, around the 2nd week of October, we checked with PSA Davao if it is already updated. It's not. I was told by a lot of people including PSA personel themselves that it will just take 6 months.
