Good day!

We are conducting a thesis as a requirement for earning our degree. We would like to request for the latest data (2020 or 2021) regarding the total population of youth aged 18 to 24 years old. The 2017 PSA data is all we could find online.

We hope for your immediate response.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 30, 2021 12:11:02 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Total population of youth aged 18 to 24 years old.

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. 

Please be informed that we have recently released the total population by barangay based on our CPH 2020 on our website through this link:
https://psa.gov.ph/content/2020-census-population-and-housing-2020-cph-population-counts-declared-official-president

However, please take note that the aggregated data on household and institutional population or indicators like sex, age and other socio-demographic characteristics are not yet available for public use. Also, please take note that the census is conducted only every five (5) years.
