This is Pamela Valeriano, currently studying the Bachelors of Science in Architecture at Bataan Peninsula State University, I would like to request any recent available data or statistics of the following

1. Data or statistics regarding solo parents or single parents in the Philippines per region.
2. Data or statistics regarding working parents in the Philippines per region.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 14, 2023 12:08:30 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Population of solo parent/ single parent  and working parents per region.

Your FOI request is approved. 

In reference to your data request, our available data on solo parents is limited on the generated data from our POPCEN 2015 results:

Number of Solo Parents whose Marital Status were Single with Children Living in the Households by Sex and Province: Philippines, 2015: https://1drv.ms/x/s!Ajr9bkYQz9OchQjALm7rDOA2Zf-Z?e=52DsfG

We have released our preliminary results of CPH 2020, however, this indicator is not yet available for dissemination.

For the other indicators, you may try to coordinate with the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
