You asked for Number of sari-sari stores.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

In reference to your data request, please see the the attached data on the Number of Establishments Engaged in Retail selling in sari-sari stores by City|Municipality,Philippines: 2020 LE. Please be informed that the sari-sari storesincluded in the coverage of our List of Establishments (LE) are only
those with at least one paid employee who was hired exclusively to work
in or for the sari-sari store. Thus, sari-sari stores without paid
employees are not included in the count.

Please take note that household help or kasambahay hired to serve the
household is not considered as a paid employee of the sari-sari store.
Regardless of whether the establishment is registered or not in the
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as long as it is in the scope and
coverage of our List of Establishments (LE) we included it in the list.
