Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 16, 2021 10:23:11 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for BIRTH CERTIFICATE of my Mother born 1942.

Your FOI request is approved. 

Please be informed that we do not release birth certificates who were born before 1945 unless the birth certificate undergoes endorsement or delayed registration. 

Civil registry records that are available in our electronic and paper archives cover births, marriages and deaths that occurred starting 1945 to the current year, and from 1951 onwards for events that occurred in Manila. For civil registry records prior to 1945, we issue certifications (negative), unless PSA was able to receive a copy of the birth certificate through endorsement or delayed registration.

You may also check if a copy of the birth certificate is available in the National Archives of the Philippines.

Also, please be informed that we do not accept requests civil registry certificates through this portal. If already endorsed or filed as delayed registration, you may request via online or through our PSA CRS Outlets.
