1. Can I apply an advance copy of my marriage certificate, since I have my certified true copy from the LCR? Wedding date is on November 24, 2022.

2. What are the requirements if ever? and how long it takes?

3. Can I apply it now true PSAHelpline?

Dear JINNEFER TOLORIO,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 07, 2022 07:48:46 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Marriage Certificate.

Your FOI request is approved. 

Please be advised that you may request a copy of your document from PSA after six (6) months from the date of registration and regular transmittal of your document by the concerned Local Civil Registry Office/Consular Office.

For an advance copy of the document, you may apply for a manual verification via the walk-in application at the nearest PSA Civil Registry System outlet and present the following:

1. 2 valid IDs
2. Copy of Report of Marriage/Birth/Despatch
3. Transmittal Details from DFA/LCRO
You may authorize a representative to request on your behalf, kindly provide the following upon application/claim of the document:

a. Original valid ID or photocopy of valid ID of the document owner and original and photocopy of the valid ID of the representative

b. Authorization letter / Special Power of Attorney (SPA) duly signed by document owner and indicating the following:

Type of document
Number of requested documents
Name of the document/s; and
Complete details of requested documents
NOTE: Civil Registration System (CRS) outlets do not accept walk-in clients and only clients with prior appointment can be accommodated. To secure an appointment, please proceed to appointment.psa.gov.ph.
