I kindly request information regarding the barangay with the greatest number of registered Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) here in Zamboanga City. Additionally, I would appreciate receiving details pertaining to the total count of businesses officially registered within said barangay, including the names of these registered enterprises, if such information is accessible.

Thank you for your request dated Sep 28, 2023 12:54:04 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.


You asked for barangay with the greatest number of registered Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) Zamboanga City.


Your FOI request is approved. Please be informed that PSA does not release establishment-level information as we are bound by the confidentiality provision (Section 26) of Republic Act 10625 which states that: "Individual data furnished by the respondent to statistical inquiries, surveys and censuses of the PSA shall be considered privileged information and as such shall be inadmissible as evidence in any proceeding."

"The PSA may release aggregated information from statistical inquiries, surveys and censuses in the form of summaries or statistical tables in which no reference to an individual, corporation, association, partnership, institution or business enterprise shall appear.”
