I would like to request for the following:

1. Total number of Muslims in the country
2. Total number of Muslims per region
3. Total number of male and female Muslims

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 12, 2022 10:32:14 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Total Number of Muslims.

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. 

Please be informed that we have recently released the total population by barangay based on our CPH 2020 on our website through this link:
https://psa.gov.ph/content/2020-census-population-and-housing-2020-cph-population-counts-declared-official-president

However, please take note that the aggregated data on institutional population or indicators like sex, age, religious affiliation, and other socio-demographic characteristics are not yet available for public use.
