1. PWD Athlete Population in the Philippines
2. Paralympic sports that are available in the Philippines
3. PARALYMPIC sports facilities or complexes in the Philippines
4. Organizations and agencies in charge of or supporting the Paralympics
5. Annual number of PWD athletes competing in international games

Your Request

You asked for PWD athletes in the Philippines.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Hereunder are the response to the information you are requesting.

1.  There are 228 Philspada Athletes who are under the subsidy of the PSC.
2.  Para Swimming, Para Archery, Para Athletics, Para Badminton, Boccia, Para Chess, Para Cycling, CP Football, Goalball, Wheelchair Dancesports, Para Judo, Para Sailing, Para Table Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Sitting Volleyball, Powerlifting, Wheelchair Basketball
3.  Paralympic athletes are using some of the venues in Philsports Complex in Pasig and Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
4.  Philippine Sports Association for the Differently Abled
5.  It always depends on the host country what sports and events they will include in their international competitions.
