Dear colleagues in the National Government,

We are gathering data on the number of LICENSED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, also known as the Human Resources for Health, who are working in other government sectors outside of the health sector, regardless of their position. 

In line with this, may we ask how many among your employees are licensed medical and allied health professionals by profession, regardless of their current position? Please disaggregate per profession.

Kindly let us know if your Department is able to tag employees if they are licensed health professionals or not.

You asked for the number of employees who have licensed health professionals working in our Department. 

Your FOI request is approved. Hereunder is the information you requested based on the list of employees, regardless of their position.

MEDICAL DOCTOR
Medical -   9 pax
Dental   -   1 pax
 
Nurses - 13 pax
Rehab - 10 pax
Nutritionist - 2 pax
Psych - 4 pax
Phinado MD 1 pax

Also, please be informed that our Department is able to tag employees who have licensed health professionals and who are not.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by sending an email to Mr. Manuel Bitog, DED-BCSSS with the email address of supportservices@psc.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
