Dear Ms. Virgie,

Thank you for your request dated Aug 06, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Halika cash online lending.

We received your request on Aug 06, 2021 and will respond on or before Aug 27, 2021 09:51:24 PM, in accordance with the Executive Order's implementing rules and regulations.  This will be referred to the appropriate department.

Meanwhile, kindly be guided by the information on the filing of complaints relating to Lending and Financing Companies posted at:

Please note that only registered Lending Companies and Financing Companies with Certificates of Authority (CA) to Operate as a Lending/Financing Company may be subject of a complaint. 

For complaints against individuals/companies engaging in lending activities without CA, please send your email to Enforcement and Investor Protection Department at epd@sec.gov.ph.

Response to Request

Please be informed that Halika Cash is the registered online lending platform of E-Borrow Lending Corp., with SEC Registration No. CS2020100002616-030 and Certificate of Authority to Operate as a Lending Company (CA) No. 3333.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Commission Secretary at comsec@sec.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
 
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
