Good day. I would like to request the 2017 to 2020 audited financial statements of all of the distribution utilities (DUs) in the Philippines (if available). 

This is for purposes of assessing the Trade Accounts Receivable, Allowance for Doubtful Accounts, Provision for Bad Debts and Write-offs of the various DUs.

Your Request

You asked for the 2017-2020 Audited Financial Statements of Philippine Distribution Utilities (DUs).

Response to Request

The data and documents you have requested will undergo regular processing subject to applicable fees (please see https://www.sec.gov.ph/forms-and-fees/schedules-of-fees/).  

The generation of the list of DUs is subject to the following:

1.  Special program fee of PhP1,000.00; and,
2.  Computer processing charge of PhP4.00/minute.

The data elements included in the list are:
1.  SEC Registration Number;
2.  Name of Corporation;
3.  Date Registered; and,
4.  Address.

After obtaining the list of DUs, you may request for copies of the AFS filed with the SEC.  Please visit https://secexpress.ph/application-form or contact hotline number (02) 8737-8888 to discuss the details of your request and obtain information on the related fees and procedures.  The SEC fees for this service may be found at https://secexpress.ph/service-fees.  All documents requested through this system will be delivered within five to seven days from confirmation of payment. 

Should you decide to proceed with this request, you may coordinate directly with our Ms. Josefina Paquiz of the Information and Communications Technology Department via email at mjmpaquiz@sec.gov.ph. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to comsec@sec.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
