Good day!

I'm Julianne Sophia Tan from the University of Santo Tomas and would like to inquire about data for conducting a research entitled "The Relationship between House Prices and Stock Prices - An Empirical Analysis of the Philippine Market".

With that, I will need help in gathering data about the Stock Prices, Stock Prices Index, House Prices, and Stock Market Volatility Index ideally from 1980-2020.

You can also opt to source any data you think is beneficial to my study with a total of 30 to 40 observations.

You asked for data regarding the relationship between House and Stock Prices.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, we have coordinated with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) regarding your request. The PSE advised that you may send your request to them through email address market.data@pse.com.ph.


Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Chairperson Emilio B. Aquino (ebaquino@sec.gov.ph). Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
