Your Request

You asked for the average hotel industry financial ratios.

Response to Request

Our data on firms' financial ratios is limited to the Top 1000 Corporations ranked by Gross Revenue.  As such, not all industry players are covered therein.  Regarding the average financial ratio of the hotel industry, the same may be obtained from independent research based on the Audited Financial Statement (AFS) filed with the SEC.  To do this, however, you would need the list of firms to be covered in your financial ratio computation or analysis.

For additional clarification and/or information on the related fees and procedures concerning our Top 1000 Corporations and company registration data, you may coordinate with our Ms. Ma. Theresa M. Bersabal through email address mtmbersabal@sec.gov.ph or telephone number 8818-6117.

To request for copies of company documents and AFS filed with the SEC, you may visit https://secexpress.ph/application-form or contact hotline number (02) 8737-8888 to discuss the details of your request and obtain information on the related fees and procedures. All documents requested through this system will be delivered within five to seven days from confirmation of payment. The list of SEC fees may be found at https://secexpress.ph/service-fees. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to comsec@sec.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
