You asked for Refund Claim - Prudentialife.

Your FOI request is approved. Please see below response:

Dear Ms. Gallo,

This is in response to your query regarding refund claims concerning Prudentialife, specifically you posed the following questions/concerns:

“1. Update on PPLIC Liquidation of Assets.

2. When will I get the refund.

3. Will I be able to get at least the full amount I have paid.”


Based on the information provided, it appears that the PPLIC is an insurance company.  Please be advised that matters in relation to the concerns you raised (i.e. liquidation) are under the scope and jurisdiction of the Insurance Commission pursuant to Section 256 of Republic Act No. 10607.  We recommend that you contact their Office at publicassistance@insurance.gov.ph  or you may visit their website at https://www.insurance.gov.ph/contact-us/

In addition, per checking their website, we note of the Insurance Commission’s issuance  which may be related to your concern (https://www.insurance.gov.ph/directive-on-flt-crl-2021-02-liquidation-ppic).  For clarification and further inquiries on this matter, we recommend that you contact the Insurance Commission at the above-mentioned details.
