Hi, I would like to know:

1.) Does ROBOCASH PHILIPPINES FINANCING CORP. have a valid license to operate a lending company or finance company?
2.) Did the SEC revoke the license of ROBOCASH PHILIPPINES FINANCING CORP.?
3.) Did the SEC allow ROBOCASH PHILIPPINES FINANCING CORP. to operate despite the license being revoked?
4.) Are there any ongoing investigations or cases?

Your Request

You asked for Clarification on The Status of License and Cases Against RoboCash Financing Corp.

Response to Request

Please take note that the Corporate Governance and Finance Department, SEC issued an Order revoking the Certificate of Authority of the company and this Order is under Appeal.

As to your query on the investigation, please take note of  Sec. 2-4, Part II, Rule II of the 2016 Rules of Procedure of the Securities and Exchange Commission which provides that any information, document or records obtained by the Commission in the course of any investigation or examination shall be confidential in nature. As such, details as to the investigation and proceedings appurtenant thereto are exempted from the coverage of the FOI program. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Commission Secretary thru comsec@sec.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
