Thank you for your request dated Mar 18, 2021 07:58:28 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You asked for Companies with Sustainability Reporting.
Response to Request
Below is the response of the Corporate Governance and Finance Department (CGFD):
The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued Memorandum Circular No. 4, Series of 2019, also known as the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for Publicly-Listed Companies (PLCs) requiring PLCs to submit Sustainability Report together with its Annual Report.
The Guidelines is intended to help PLCs assess and manage non-financial performance across Economic, Environmental and Social aspects of their organization and enable PLCs to measure and monitor their contributions towards achieving universal targets of sustainability.
Further, PLCs are mandated to post in their website all the required disclosures, including the Annual Reports, and must be retained in the company’s website for a period of five (5) years pursuant to SEC Memorandum Circular No. 11, Series of 2014.
In this regard, you may find the PLCs Sustainability Report in its Annual Report which is publicly available in the companies' website and can also be accessed through the PSE Edge. https://edge.pse.com.ph/companyDirectory/form.do.
Should you need further clarification and/or assistance, please feel free to get in touch with the CGFD through telephone number 8818-7264 or mobile number 0926-017-0248.
