A number of Philippines lending companies are engaged in schemes whereby they conspire with employment agencies for the purpose of granting excessive interest loans for prospective OFWs to pay illicit agency fees. This was recently showcased as the Hong Kong SAR Police Force took prompt to arrest a number of individuals involved in such a scheme.

I would like to know if the SEC is taking any action to cooperate with authorities in Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan.
