SEC FATF - Anti Money Laundering Policies & Actions

Requested from SEC by G. Graciadas at 02:32 PM on May 29, 2020.
Purpose: Public interest
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2020 - 05/29/2020
Tracking no: #SEC-194256133453

Graciadas 02:32 PM, May 29, 2020

It has come to my attention that the SEC has received at least 100 complaints against money lenders who are under investigation for money laundering and human trafficking.

The SEC has appeared uninterested in entertaining complaint regarding money laundering and human trafficking. Indeed, in at least one instance it was reported that the SEC shared confidential law enforcement information with CASH4U Financing Corporation (CASH4U).

It is requested that the SEC explain and provide copies of the anti-money laundering, AMLC, and FATF policies that are in place to prevent illicit money lenders.
