The information may be checked online.  Kindly download the SEC Check App (https://bit.ly/secmobileapp), the official mobile app of the Securities and Exchange Commission Philippines.  Apart from providing information on whether a company is registered with the SEC, it gives on-the-go guides in doing business and investing in the Philippines, and contains investor alerts and educational materials aimed at protecting the investing public from investment scams.

Another option is to request for copies of company registration documents filed with the SEC.  Please visit https://secexpress.ph/application-form or contact hotline number (02) 8737-8888 to discuss the details of your request and obtain information on the related fees and procedures.  All documents requested through this system will be delivered within five to seven days from confirmation of payment. The list of SEC fees may be found at https://secexpress.ph/service-fees. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to comsec@sec.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
