I would like to obtain any record pertaining to the number of complaints or ongoing investigations against HOYA Lending Investor Corporation ("HOYA") and their collection companies Grand Fusion and Carry You.

According to SEC complaint records, a significant number of victims have filed complaints against HOYA for failing to provide a loan agreement / disclosure statement, conspiring with agencies, and engaging in money laundering.

In fact, authorities in Hong Kong SAR have blocked transactions to HOYA due to the illicit nature of their business operations.


Investigation proceedings are confidential in nature under Sec. 2-4, Part II, Rule II of the 2016 Rules of Procedure of the Securities and Exchange Commission. As such, details as to the investigation and proceedings appurtenant thereto are exempted from the coverage of FOI program.
