Your Request

You asked for the List of Manufacturing MSMEs in Metro Manila.

Response to Request

We do not classify firms according to size either in terms of assets or the number of employees. As such, we do not have data on MSMEs.  Nevertheless, you may request for the list of registered manufacturing companies in Metro Manila, and conduct an independent research on which of the same are MSMEs. 

Requests for the preparation of reports, company listings, and related information on SEC-registered entities require payment of processing fees as stated in SEC MC No. 3 (s. 2017) (https://www.sec.gov.ph/mc-2017/mc-no-03-s-2017-consolidated-schedule-of-fees-and-charges/ and https://www.sec.gov.ph/forms-and-fees/schedules-of-fees), as follows:
Special Program fee of PhP1,000.00; and
Computer processing charge of PhP4.00/minute.
 
Details included in the list are the following:
Name of Corporation;
SEC Registration Number;
Date Registered; and
Company Address.

Should you decide to proceed with your request or need further clarification/assistance, please feel free to coordinate directly with the ICT Department’s Ms. Joy Paquiz (mjmpaquiz@sec.gov.ph).  Based on the list obtained from the SEC, you may conduct an independent research and compile the data yourself from the firms' annual Audited Financial Statements (AFS) filings with the SEC. You also have the option to tap the services of third parties for the purpose.

To request for copies of company documents filed with the SEC, you may visit https://secexpress.ph/application-form or contact hotline number (02) 8737-8888 to discuss the details of your request and obtain information on the related fees and procedures. All documents requested through this system will be delivered within five to seven days from confirmation of payment. The list of SEC fees may be found at https://secexpress.ph/service-fees. 

You may also want to inquire with the Department of Trade and Industry regarding MSMEs registered with them.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to comsec@sec.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
