Hi, I would like to ask if those who graduated as a DOST Scholar in year 2023 can travel abroad without the clearance from DOST? IF not, what are the requirements needed to be submitted if it's a personal decision/relative invitation to travel and not from a company.

You asked for DOST Travel Clearance.

Response to your request

We regret to inform you that your request is not under Executive Order No. 2 s. 2016 on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. We were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as it is part of the frontline service of the DOST-SEI, hence your request is denied.

However, we forwarded to the Science and Technology Scholarship Division (STSD) your inquiry regarding the travel clearance. You may coordinate with STSD by email at clearance@sei.dost.gov.ph for your concern. And you may also contact them on (02) 8330-8876 or (02) 8330-8826.

Your right to request a review
